The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has demanded that those seeking his removal from office provide evidence of any offenses he has committed. Lagos Reporters had reported that there was a plot to commence impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara today, but this was prevented by a fire explosion at the Rivers State House of Assembly during the early hours of today.
