I’m Being Pressured To Get Married – Yemi Alade Laments

Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade, has lamented about the pressure she gets from her family to get married.During her most recent interview with Cool FM, Yemi Alade, while subtly denying her reported marriage to her manager, discussed how she feels about the pressure to marry and have children, particularly from family members.The ‘Johnny’ crooner stated that the pressure increases towards the end of the year but she has mastered how to respond.
She revealed that marrying the right partner is critical, as is planning ahead of time for the children that a marriage may produce.In her own words:“People get married every year, especially towards the end of the year, it gets even crazier. I’m under no pressure honey. Nobody should be. When it’s time, it’s time.”“Family pressure is a difficult pressure to shake off because it’s the people you respect and look up to that are insisting that you get married, but I believe if they have your best interest at heart, they will wait with you.”“Because it’s more important to have the right partner than to just get married.”“But asides that, I don’t think anyone should be in so much of a rush to make wrong decision and be with the wrong partner.”“Have you guys checked how much Pampers is? Look, these babies they are gifts, but when they’re born, they need things. Let’s stop borning children to come and suffer.”“Let’s normalize that. When mummy says go and marry, go and have child, say mummy do you have trust fund baby?”“Are you ready for trust fund baby? Let’s have questions to ask these people that have opinions, that are watching the womb on when we should.”“I think no one should be under unnecessary pressure. Have you seen the economy? Calm down! Veteran Actor, Alex Usifo And Wife Celebrate 30th Wedding Anniversary (Photos)
Veteran actor Alex Usifo and his wife are celebrating their 30th wedding.
The popular star took to his page on Instagram to make it public and also share photos.
According to him, their wedding anniversary took place on November 27.
He also said he loves his wife and will always do so.
Posting lovely throwback and new photos of him and his wife on his page, he wrote;
‘’Last week, November 27th we celebrated our 30th year anniversary and it keeps dawning on me over and over again how blessed I am and how amazing life is with you. I have so much to say but ‘I love you and always will’ is what caps it for me.

Controversial street artist, Portable has called out popular show promoter, Bankuli over failure to release his song with Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale.
During a recent live session on Instagram, the Zazu crooner called out Bankulli whom he met through socialite, Abu Abel.According to Portable, he was on his way to have the song featuring Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale recorded on the day he crashed his G-Wagon and despite his car loss, the song was not released.Expressing his frustration, Portable accused the music industry of being jealous of his greatness, particularly after his recent music verse with UK rapper, Skepta.“Why is it that the people I have done hit music with always refuse to release my songs? Is it because I outshined them? Abu Abel asked me to meet Bankulli, I had an accident with my G-Wagon and still managed to be there to record the song. You can see that I am not a coward,” he said in part.Watch the video below;

In the video, the duo publicly showcased their affection for each which left many in shock.The Lagos socialite didn’t make known the name of the guy, but while netizens are speculating, they have continued to press the hearts of singles as they shared a video of themselves treating each other with affection.
