Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Burnley, Zinchenko starts

Arsenal welcome Burnley to the Emirates Stadium for today’s Premier League clash.
The Gunners suffered their first league defeat of the campaign last weekend. Newcastle United scored a controversial goal after the hour mark.
The club responded with a resounding 2-0 win over Sevilla in the Champions League and will be aiming for another comfortable victory today.
Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has revealed that Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are doubtful. The latter picked up a knock on Wednesday.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya has been Arsenal’s undisputed goalkeeper in the Premier League and Champions League games since the September international break. He is expected to start between the sticks.
In the backline, Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are assured starters. The only change could be at left-back. Oleksandr Zinchenko should start ahead of Takehiro Tomiyasu as he is better going forward.
The manager is unlikely to tinker with his midfield combination. Jorginho should start in the number six role again after a fine display in midweek. The Italian created the opening goal with a fantastic defence splitting pass.
Declan Rice is expected to continue in the creative central midfield position and he should be accompanied by Kai Havertz. The German has shown signs of gaining confidence and had a lively outing against Sevilla.
Further forward, Gabriel Martinelli should be guaranteed his spot on the left wing after a tremendous showing against Sevilla. He was full of running for most of the game, winning 10 duels and completing nine take-ons.
Leandro Trossard should lead the attack ahead of Eddie Nketiah, who was absent in midweek with a minor ankle knock. Saka did not train on Thursday but given his recovery levels, it won’t be a surprise if he starts on the right wing.
The Gunners graduate looked back to his best with a goal and an assist in the Champions League.

Sean Dyche was forced into one alteration from the team that lost to Manchester United last week with Dominic Calvert-Lewin left out through injury, allowing Beto to make the starting 11.
Notably, the pink protest cards were out in force by the Everton faithful again this week.
There was little to choose between the sides during the opening exchanges, though Anthony Elanga looked like the most dangerous player on the pitch over the first 20 minutes, with Ashley Young struggling to keep up with the 21-year-old.
However, the first big chance of the match fell the way of The Toffees when Odysseas Vlachodimos dropped a high ball into the box that fell at the feet of Beto, but the forward skied his first-time effort over the bar from roughly 12 yards out.
Forest had their first real sight of goal at the half-hour mark, with Elanga getting on the end of a cross into the box, but the forward was unable to guide the ball inside the far post with his attempt.
The best chance of the first half went the way of the visitors when Abdoulaye Doucoure played in Dwight McNeil, who put his shot past Vlachodimos, but Murillo got back on the line and cleared the ball to safety off the face of the upright.
It was all square at the interval, but Everton should probably have been in the lead with two big chances wasted.
Forest made a bright start to the second half and almost got the opening goal with a shot from Felipe that struck the woodwork.
Amid the tussle in the box during that attempt, Doucoure looked to have pulled Yates to the ground, which the referee waved on, and after a VAR review, the video assistants decided there was not enough evidence to overturn the onfield decision.
Unfortunately for Forest, their frustrations were compounded 10 minutes later as Beto miscued a header in the opposing box that fell to McNeil, who lashed a powerful shot into the top corner to give The Toffees the lead.
Elanga almost pulled his side level twice in the final 10 minutes but saw his first attempt smothered by Jordan Pickford, while his second went just wide of the far post from a snap shot.
Everton parked the bus in stoppage time and saw the game out for a big three points.
Forest will head to Craven Cottage in midweek to take on Fulham while Everton will welcome Newcastle United to Goodison Park on Thursday night.
More to follow.

Arsenal beat Wolverhampton Wanderers to go four points clear at top of table
Arsenal move four points clear at the top of the Premier League table courtesy of a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in North London.
Arsenal have moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League table courtesy of a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in North London.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were on the scoresheet for Mikel Arteta’s side, who have opened up a four-point advantage over second-placed Manchester City in the division, albeit having now played a game more from the reigning champions.
Matheus Cunha had one back for Wolves late on, but the visitors could not find a second, with Gary O’Neil’s side suffering their seventh league loss of the campaign....Click Here To Continue Reading>>
Wolves started full of confidence, but the visitors found themselves behind in the sixth minute of the contest, with Saka firing into the bottom corner after breaking into the penalty box.
Smart work from Gabriel Jesus led to Takehiro Tomiyasu having space on the edge of the box, and the defender fed the ball into Saka, who managed to break past Craig Dawson before picking out the back of the net.
Arsenal then doubled their advantage in the 13th minute through Odegaard, who found the bottom corner with a smart finish after Oleksandr Zinchenko had picked out his teammate following a one-two with Gabriel Jesus.
Jose Sa made a smart save to deny Leandro Trossard in the 22nd minute, but the Wolves goalkeeper then had to leave the field with an injury shortly after, which led to Daniel Bentley being introduced.
The chances kept coming for Arsenal, with Odegaard missing the target after Gabriel Martinelli had a shot blocked, with Wolves struggling to get out of their own half at the Emirates Stadium.

Martinelli then hit the post for the home side in the latter stages of the first period, before Jesus somehow fired over the crossbar from close range after an excellent delivery from Saka.
Wolves had a chance to halve the deficit in the latter stages of the first period when Hwang Hee-chan burst through on goal, but Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya was quick off his line to deal with the danger.
The Gunners called for a penalty early in the second half when Jesus went down inside the box under pressure from Max Kilman, but the referee was not interested and VAR agreed.
Wolves then came close to registering in the 54th minute through Matheus Cunha, but the forward’s powerful strike was kept out by Raya during an open period of the match.
Trossard lifted one over the away side’s crossbar just before the hour, before Declan Rice missed the target after smart work from Odegaard, with the score remaining 2-0 heading into the final 25 minutes of action.
Saka came close to his second of the match in the 76th minute, but the England international’s strike from distance just missed the top corner, with Bentley getting nowhere near it.
The Wolves goalkeeper managed to make two excellent saves to deny Trossard and Saka in quick succession in the 83rd minute, and the visitors then scored, with Cunha smashing into the far corner from just inside the box after Arsenal had failed to clear their lines.
Bentley tipped an effort from Eddie Nketiah onto the post in the 87th minute, with the visitors staying alive heading into stoppage time, but they were unable to find a second, as the Gunners managed to secure a huge three points in their battle for the title.
Arsenal will be aiming to make it a sixth straight win in all competitions when they head to Luton Town on Tuesday, while Wolves will be bidding to bounce back from the loss when they host Burnley on the same night.
