The battle for the European places in the Turkish Super Lig is getting tougher from week to week, as two neighbours in the table Kasimpasa and Kayserispor face off in the early kickoff on Saturday.

The hosts go into the game on the back of a narrow 2-1 away defeat to Galatasaray, while the visitors recorded a 1-0 home win over Alanyaspor.

We say: Kasimpasa 1-1 Kayserispor
At this stage of the season, there is not much difference between the two teams, as both have been in similar form recently.

Kayserispor’s rather poor away record could indicate that the visitors are in a slightly worse position going into this game than the hosts, but Kasimpasa’s unimpressive defensive home record also make them rather vulnerable and far from favourites in this game.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Gaziantep will look to make it back-to-back wins in the Turkish Super Lig when they travel to Alanya to take on Alanyaspor on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors have had a success story in the last week – they first reached the next round of the Turkish Cup with a 4-0 win against Efeler 09 Spor, followed by a 2-0 home win against Caykur Rizespor – while the hosts come from a 1-0 defeat against Kayserispor.

We say: Alanyaspor 1-2 Gaziantep
Gaziantep have had a perfect week, with two wins from two games and no goals conceded, which should see them as favourites for Saturday’s game, despite their poor away record this season. It will be Alanyaspor’s second game under Tekke, and the home support could be an important factor in his search for his first points as a new coach, but we are backing the hosts to come away empty-handed.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Fatih Karagumruk will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Super Lig to four games when they host Sivasspor at the Vefa Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Konyaspor in the previous round, while the visitors registered the same scoreline at home to Adana Demirspor.

We say: Fatih Karagumruk 1-2 Sivasspor
Sivasspor have performed very well away from home in the opening months of the season and there is no reason to think they cannot continue that form on Saturday. The hosts have played neither particularly well nor particularly badly at home this season, but one thing is for sure – they are struggling to score goals, having the fourth-worst record of any team from the bottom half of the Super Lig with just five goals scored so far.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Out-of-form Hatayspor host defending Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray at the New Hatay Stadium in the competition’s 12th round on Saturday.
Beaten in their last three matches, the home side look to end the table-topping club’s three-month winning sequence in the league.

We say: Hatayspor 0-2 Galatasaray
Galatasaray have conceded just one road goal in six matches, and they could keep another away clean sheet with a routine win over off-form Hatayspor this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Gary O’Neil makes four changes to his Wolverhampton Wanderers XI for the Premier League fixture against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
Gary O’Neil has made four changes to his Wolverhampton Wanderers XI for Saturday’s Premier League fixture at Arsenal.
For the first time this season, O’Neil has started to encounter injury and suspension issues, the one benefit from the defeat at Fulham earlier this week being Craig Dawson able to return from a one-match ban for the game at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes both picked up their fifth yellow cards of the campaign at Craven Cottage, while Rayan Ait-Nouri sustained an ankle injury....Click Here To Continue Reading>>

Dawson has taken the place of Santiago Bueno in the back three, while Hugo Bueno has been brought in to deputise for Ait-Nouri at left wing-back.
Tommy Doyle and Boubacar Traore are given the nod in the centre of midfield, with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde potentially being given licence to roam between that pair and a front two of Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made one change to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have found momentum with four straight wins in all competitions. They will be aiming for a third successive league win in today’s meeting against Gary O’Neil’s side.

Ahead of the game, Arteta has made a solitary change from the 6-0 rout of Lens in the Champions League. Kai Havertz has made way for Leandro Trossard in the line-up.

Havertz has answered his critics over the past two games. The German scored a late winner against Brentford before opening the scoring versus Lens in Europe in midweek.

Despite this, Arteta has decided to go with Trossard, who is a more offensive-minded player.

The Belgian started in the centre of the park against Brentford last time around. He was unlucky not to find the back of the net after his goal was ruled out for a marginal offside.

Trossard is currently the club’s second highest scorer with six goals and the fans will be hoping that he can return to scoring ways against Wolves in today’s afternoon kick-off.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Wolves: Raya; Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Odegaard, Trossard; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.

Arsenal are top of the Premier League table after 13 games and will be desperate to go one better this term after finishing second last season.

The Gunners are just a point ahead of Manchester City and two points ahead of Liverpool and Aston Villa, so they are not clear favourites to clinch the title.

However, Paul Merson believes Arsenal could win the Premier League if they pick up all the points available from their next five games.

The games are coming in thick and fast ahead of the festive period, and it is a time of the campaign when teams can establish themselves as key contenders and challengers for the league title.

“Five games before boxing day, big five games coming up for every team,” Merson said on Sky Sports.

“If Arsenal get through this, I think Arsenal win the league.”

The North Londoners play Wolverhampton Wanderers later today before facing Luton Town later on Tuesday.

They travel to face Aston Villa next Saturday before facing Brighton & Hove Albion afterwards.

A trip to Anfield to face Liverpool on December 23rd is next with West Ham United and Fulham their last games of the year before Premier League action resumes on January 20.
