According to the CH, Sister Suellen, who is a nun, arrived back in the U.S. on August 31 via medical transport. Since 2013 Sister Suellen had been serving as support for medical staff in Africa until early April when a group of 10 armed men abducted her from her residence.

She was taken from her bed without her glasses, shoes or medicine. Sister Suellen was blindfolded and gagged. At first she thought the kidnappers would leave her on the porch, but then they instructed her to get on the back of a motorcycle and hang on.

“Whoa, this was not what I thought was going to happen. But from the beginning, I was asking God to please use this for good. I don’t understand why it’s happening; I don’t understand why they took me. And a lot of good has happened – all these people praying,” she recalled.

She remembered riding all through the night until she was transferred to a second group. According to the Clarion Herald she was not physically harmed and treated reasonably while held in captivity. READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

Because she had nothing with her, and the only items she was given were a few pieces of paper and a red pen, Sister Suellen spent her time checking days off a homemade calendar and praying. Sister Suellen recalled certain Scripture and mentally ran through the Mass every day. “Prayer sustained me,” she said.

“I went through my Mass every day. I did each part of the Mass and received spiritual Communion. During the day, at least three or four times a day, I would do a spiritual Communion. That was the thing that kept me going because I had nothing. I would say, ‘OK, God, what’s your word to me today at this moment?’

Sometimes it was a Scripture passage or a story from Scripture. But, after a while, it was just messages to me. And the one that stayed with me the longest was ‘peaceful patience. You need to be peacefully patient.’”

In August, she was taken a far distance by motorcycle and greeted by four men. The men took her to a house where they instructed her to eat and take a shower.

Arrangements were made and Sister Suellen arrived back in the States via medical transport on August 31. Sister Suellen, who contracted malaria and lost 20 pounds during her captivity, has been checked out by medical professionals and is currently on the mend.

The following day, Clara received a message from the construction office asking her to attend a meeting with HR. Expecting to be fired, Clara entered the meeting with mixed emotions. However, to her surprise, Mr. Gilmore was there and apologized for his outburst the previous day. He explained that the stress of the meeting had overwhelmed him and he had sensory issues.

Mr. Gilmore shared a personal story of how his grandson had once gotten lost, and a kind stranger had stayed with him until they were reunited. He expressed his gratitude for the stranger’s act of kindness and recognized Clara’s honorable actions in taking care of the abandoned baby. In a generous gesture, Mr. Gilmore not only apologized but also offered Clara a raise, compensation, and the money in an account as a token of appreciation. Although Clara initially tried to refuse, Mr. Gilmore insisted, wanting to express his gratitude in a meaningful way.

A few days later, Clara learned that the baby’s mother had been found. It turned out that someone had taken the stroller with the baby when the mother had been momentarily distracted and accidentally left it behind. Clara’s actions had saved the family from a potential tragedy.

With the money and support from Mr. Gilmore, Clara’s life took a positive turn. She decided to start her own cleaning service, determined to be her own boss and never be at the mercy of others again.

This story highlights the power of compassion and understanding. Clara’s act of kindness not only helped an abandoned baby but also led to a surprising change in her own life. It serves as a reminder that even in difficult circumstances, acts of empathy can have a profound impact and open doors to new opportunities.

According to the court documents, the 20-year-old defendant, Christopher, pleaded guilty to ra-ing one young girl and se-ually abusing three others over the course of a year.

But, unfortunately,, thanks to the judge’s sympathy, he won’t even set foot inside of a prison cell for any of his crimes. The victims of the defendant are tormented by the fact that their se-ual abuser will not be jailed for his actions. The defendant was formally charged with first-degree ra-e, third-degree ra-e, and se-ual abuse involving multiple minors when he was only 17 years old…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>

The abuse occurred over the course of a year at his home. He later pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree se* abuse, third-degree attempted abuse, and third-degree ra-e.

Per reports, Judge Murphy said in front of Belter and his victims that he agonized over whether or not to imprison the rapist. He then announced that Belter would receive no jail time and just eight years of probation for his crimes because jailing him wouldn’t be an appropriate sentence.

Judge Murphy went on to say that he came to his decision based on the ra-ist’s age at the time of the crimes. The defendant was 16 or 17 when he ra-ed a teen girl and se-ually abused three others, whose ages ranged from 15 to 16 years. READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

“I agonized — I’m not ashamed to say that I actually prayed over what is the appropriate sentence in this case. because there was great pain. There was great harm — There were multiple crimes committed in the case,” Judge Murphy explained. “It seems to me that a sentence that involves incarceration or partial incarceration isn’t appropriate, so I am going to sentence you to probation.” Although the defendant is required to register as a se* offender, he received a sentence of two years interim probation which, if completed, will earn him Youthful Offender status. His probation restrictions include no contact with minors, living with his parents, employment or full-time student status, and no internet. “It’s going to be like a sword hanging over your head for the next eight years,” Judge Murphy remarked.

Christopher’s victims learned in court that he would receive no jail time. Understandably, they were stunned and disgusted with the judge’s decision.

One of the victim’s attorneys attributed the merciful sentence to Christopher’s race and economic status. “I am deeply, deeply disappointed. I expected a different outcome today,” declared Cohen, attorney. “Justice was not done today. He is privileged. He comes from money. He is white. He was sentenced as an adult, appropriately — for an adult to get away with these crimes is unjust.”
