The Asics Skyhand OG plays in the league of the Adidas Samba

The Asics Skyhand OG was first introduced in the early 90s as a handball shoe and is now returning with a contemporary update. The new “Pale Oak/Cream” colorway maintains the vintage aesthetic of the model and combines synthetic leather, mesh and suede to create a harmonious overall look. The slim silhouette is reminiscent of the original court shoes, while modern elements ensure improved comfort: The combination of synthetic leather and suede ensures a comfortable fit and optimal breathability. The EVA cushioning in the heel area offers additional comfort, while the rubber outsole provides the necessary stability. (Also interesting: The Adidas Superstar Millennium is back)

The model combines everything you could want from a retro sneaker in summer 2024: style, comfort, a little touch of nostalgia, a flat sole and great flexibility when it comes to fashionable combinations. The same ingredients that have been causing a stir in the Adidas Samba for some time. The modernized design elements of the Asics sneaker also make it a good choice for anyone looking for a classic with a contemporary twist. Price and availability of the Asics Skyhand OG “Pale Oak/Cream”

The new Skyhand OG is now available from Asics and selected retailers for 95 euros. It is not yet known whether further colorways will follow soon. However, if the sneaker does develop into a successful competitor to the Adidas Samba in the coming months, Asics will probably not disappoint its fans.

Saints announce rookie Spencer Rattler will start for injured Derek Carr against Buccaneers

Another rookie quarterback is making his first NFL start after New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen announced Spencer Rattler will start Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Allen’s regular starter, Derek Carr, suffered an indirect injury in the Saints’ loss to the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs on “Monday Evening Soccer,” and he won’t be ready to face their NFC rival South.

When Carr went down, it wasn’t Rattler supporting him at Kansas Metropolis. Jake Haener entered the game instead and Rattler was the third emergency quarterback.

But Allen and the Saints want to see what the rookie can do after a strong preseason.

Rattler went 20 of 38 for 202 yards and a touchdown pass during the preseason, and the team liked his performance. But Rattler took a step behind Haener.

SAINTS QB DEREK CARR LIKELY SIDELINED FOR SEVERAL WEEKS WITH OBLIQUE INJURY: REPORTS

Rattler was a fifth-round pick of the Saints in this year’s draft, and he will become the fifth rookie quarterback to start a game this year. Rookie Drake Maye, the third overall pick, will be the fourth rookie to start after the New England Patriots announced their own quarterback change.

Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears, Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders and Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos all started the season as starting quarterbacks for their respective teams.

A five-star prospect coming out of high school in Arizona, Rattler was a projected first-round pick in the NFL draft. But he got off to a rocky start at the University of Oklahoma before ultimately losing his starting job to Williams under head coach Lincoln Riley.

This prompted Rattler to transfer to South Carolina, where he totaled 6,212 yards, 37 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in 25 games.
