Hijacker Had To Learn The Hard Way After This Happened To Him

A dramatic car chase concluded with a hijacked vehicle rolling over after striking an embankment, following a coordinated pursuit by the IPSS Tactical Response Team (TRT) and local police.

The incident began in the early afternoon when the IPSS TRT received an alert about a vehicle hijacking in the Sundumbili area. The vehicle, which had a tracking device installed, provided continuous updates on its location, facilitating a swift response from law enforcement agencies.

The tracking device, monitored by Tracker Recovery SA, played a crucial role in relaying the vehicle’s movements. This allowed the IPSS TRT to quickly locate the stolen car, which was still in motion. Upon pinpointing the vehicle’s position, a high-speed chase ensued.

The suspect, realizing the police were closing in, attempted to evade capture by driving at high speeds. However, the frantic escape came to an abrupt end when the hijacked vehicle lost control and struck an embankment. In the aftermath of the crash, the suspect, evidently shaken, surrendered immediately without further resistance. The suspect was promptly taken into custody by the Sundumbili South African Police Service (SAPS).
