This Sunday, the FFR announced a new group of 42 players for the Blues’ summer tour in South America. With five players from Stade Français and six from Stade Rochelais.
It was announced. At the end of the Top 14 semi-finals, which saw Toulouse and UBB win respectively over La Rochelle and Stade Français, a new list of 42 players was going to be announced by the XV of France with a view to the next tour in South America. As a reminder, Fabien Galthié’s Blues will face Argentina twice (July 6 and 13) with, in the meantime, an opposition against Uruguay (July 10).
11 semi-finalists were therefore called by the French staff, including five players from Stade Français. Among them we find winger Lester Etien, the second lines Baptiste Pesenti and Pierre-Henri Azagoh, the third line Romain Briatte – never called up until now – and the back Léo Barré. The Rochelais Judicaël Cancoriet, Georges-Henri Colombe, Oscar Jégou, Antoine Hastoy, Jules Favre and the very young Simeli Daunivucu (19 years old) were called up. The latter, of Fijian origin, was called up for the first time with the France A team. READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
