Chaos erupted as mourners and funeral attendants rushed to restrain Elizabeth. They tried to calm her down and stop her from having a mental breakdown, but Elizabeth was relentless. The police began their investigation and discovered that months earlier, Natalie and Matt had been approached by an investor who wanted to buy the company for a large sum of money. But there was a problem: Alex owned the rights to most of the company’s ideas. Since Alex would never agree to the sale, Natalie and Matt had to remove him from the picture. The two of them, who had been secretly dating behind Alex’s back, devised a sinister plan.

First, they hired thugs to beat him up. This was to keep Alex in the hospital while they made changes to the company. But when Alex recovered and became suspicious of them, they decided to go further. Their final plan was to drug Alex and remove him from the picture. Elizabeth was relieved that Natalie and Matt had been brought to justice. However, she was still struggling to cope with what had happened. She couldn’t believe that her son had not only been beaten up on purpose but also nearly been buried alive. Still, Elizabeth helped her son recover from his physical and emotional injuries. She was grateful to have him back, and they became closer than ever before. And when Alex became a millionaire thanks to his groundbreaking ideas, he proudly declared that he owed it all to his mother.
