Spain’s Olympic Hopes in Jeopardy as Alex Abrines Faces Possible Pre-Olympic Absence

Despite the importance of the appointment, Scariolo does not want to force him: “Abrines travels with the team to Alicante, because he has to recover and get well as soon as possible for himself, his health and the future as well, I hope there is a future too.” If his loss is confirmed, it would be a very serious blow to Spain’s aspirations to be in the Olympic Games, which would also be added to the loss due to the injury of Alberto Abalde, another player who occupies the same position.
