Brice Samba Denies Rumors of Return to OM: Lens Goalkeeper Sets the Record Straight

With a Master’s degree in international law, I realized at the end of my university studies that it was important to work in a field that you enjoy. Overnight, I decided to put an end to my parents’ dream of me becoming a future lawyer, to live my passion: sports. Since then, I have been covering transfer windows and sports news, trying to inform readers as best I can.

In recent days, the name of Brice Samba has been circulating around OM. Trained in Marseille, the French international goalkeeper was mentioned to take the place of Pau Lopez, leaving for Como. But present at a press conference this Wednesday, the RC Lens goalkeeper was keen to deny this information.

The goalkeepers’ yard is open to theABOUT. A starter last season, Pau Lopez is reportedly being pushed out by management and Roberto de Zerbi. Discussions are underway with Como for a loan with an option to buy of €5M. In the event of departure, it will be necessary to recruit a doorman since Ruben Blanco should not climb the hierarchy. The names ofIllan Meslier (Leeds) and of Brice Samba have been named to replace the Spaniard in goal. The goalkeeper of RC Lens was at a press conference this Wednesday and responded to rumors about a possible return to OM.

Samba sets the record straight

Trained in Marseille, Samba threw a chill. “It’s not on the agenda to be completely honest. I’ve seen a lot of things circulating on social media, I’m not going to lie. Afterwards, everyone knows the attachment I have with this club that I knew at the age of 18. Then we’ll see. I’m not worrying and we’ll see what Lens’ position is towards me,” he confided.

“If we have to stay…”

The doorman wouldn’t mind staying at RC Lens, even if the transfer window is still long. “I am the captain and I don’t think Lens will want to get rid of me so easily. In any case, I am very, very happy and proud to be the captain of Lens. And if we have to stay at Lens, we will stay. In any case, I am not closing any doors and we will see what will happen this summer” said Samba.

Empowering Youth Through Sports: The Success of CIP Molise’s Multidisciplinary Summer Campus in Campomarino

Published

CAMPOMARINO. Also this year the Multidisciplinary Summer Campus, branded CIP Molise, could not be missed.

There were 10 young participants who, from 6 to 8 July, tried their hand at numerous sports disciplines: athletics, badminton, bowls, football, horse riding, gymnastics, swimming and table tennis.

It all started on Saturday morning with the welcome: handshakes, sometimes fearful looks from the participants, parents curious about how the three days could, in some way, enrich their children.

Suddenly, the arrival of 10 technicians specialized in the Paralympic sector, led by the feisty coordinator Gabriella di Berardo who in a few minutes, like magic, transformed the fears of the kids into curious smiles.

Thus began the sporting event with intense rhythms, approaches to the various disciplines proposed without ever a defection. Then the first sporting passions: Antonio would never have wanted to finish his swimming training, Matteo instead showed an immediate predisposition to Badminton, Luna with her racket quickly learned the moves of table tennis…. The result? Enthusiasm and desire to continue!

The Cip Campus was Paralympic sport but not only: friendship, knowledge, respect for the rules, integration, helping others and evening ice cream with the technicians who immediately made heartfelt friendships with our participants.

“The wish that characterizes all our events – commented the President of CIP Molise, Donatella Perrella – is to awaken interest in a discipline. The sporting path that we are starting must be only the beginning and must allow our kids to choose the sport that makes them happiest.”
