Prince William reveals Princess Diana rocked out to Tina Turner and AC/DC

Prince William said that he and his brother would listen to Tina Turner’s “The Best” on back-to-school drives, with Princess Diana taking center stage.

William, the future king, normalized the monarchy by sharing fond recollections of his mother, attempting to alleviate the boys’ fear about returning to boarding school.

“It felt like a real family moment. And my mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice,” he explained. Continue reading to hear more about the future king’s favorite songs and his preferred “tonic for a Monday morning.”

In December 2021, Prince William led the audience of Apple’s Time to Walk series on a tour of Sandringham Estate, one of his father, King Charles’s royal homes.

William shared memories as he went over the grounds, then discussed his favorite tunes that bring back good memories from his boyhood to the present.

One of his most treasured childhood memories is of his mother, Princess Diana, and the music she played for him and Prince Harry to calm their nerves about starting school.

That song is The Best by the late Tina Turner, which he still listens to to honor his mother’s memory.

“When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. My mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school,” Prince William said.

“And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s ‘The Best’ because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment.”

And Princess Diana, who leads the chorus, would sing along.

“And my mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice. And we’d even get the policeman in the car, he’d be occasionally singing along, as well,” William said.

The future king added: “You’d be singing and listening to the music right the way out into the gates of school, when they dropped you off. And, and that’s when reality kind of sunk in that you really were going back to school because before that, you’re lost in songs. You’ll want to play it again just to keep that family moment going.” READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

“When I listen to it now, it takes me back to those car rides and brings back lots of memories of my mother.”

Children’s choice

Taking those cherished memories and applying them to his own parenting approach, William reveals that he now makes special music moments with his own children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, who turns six on April 23.

“Most mornings there’s a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning. And I have to, now, basically prioritize that one day someone does this one, and another day it’s someone else’s turn,” said the royal. “So George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamor for the music.”

The Prince also mentioned that one of his children’s favorite songs at the time was Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’.

‘Best tonic for a Monday morning’

William chose AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’ as his third song, describing it as a terrific tune to get you moving.

He shared: “There’s nothing better than, on a Monday morning, when you’re a bit bleary-eyed after the weekend and trying to get yourself back into the grind of the week, listening to AC/DC, ‘Thunderstruck.’”

William continued: “I have to say the first time I put it on, and I’ve heard it a million times now, I was kind of like, ‘Well, this is quite heavy for a Monday morning.’ But now, when I listen to it, it’s the best tonic for a Monday morning.”

“It absolutely wakes you up, puts your week in the best mood possible, and you feel like you can take on anything and anyone.

“I’d imagine you’re going to walk quite fast listening to it, maybe with a skip in your step, with the head-banging. It’s a difficult song not to dance to or to nod along to.”

The Perfect Woman’s Body, According to Science

“Beauty has no size, no skin tone, no hair color, no eye color, no facial features, no muscle definition… for we are all uniquely beautiful and the standards are unreal.” – Anonymous

Beauty is one of those social standards that shouldn’t exist, but here we are. Every decade, a fresh concept takes hold, and everyone scrambles to fit in with whatever is deemed the best. Blonde hair and light-colored skin were popular in the 1950s, especially during Marilyn Monroe’s reign. It hardly mattered what your physical type was. If you meet the major criteria, you will have to go through several hoops. In the 1960s, people admired willowy women with adolescent bodies. The 1980s were all about athletic, curvaceous women with toned arms. The ’90s favored ultra-thin women with transparent skin…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>

From 2000 to the present, and supported by scientists (of all people), the ideal woman must have huge breasts, a massive buttock, an iron-flat stomach, a small waistline, thigh gaps, and flawless skin. Think about Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, and it doesn’t matter how they got their gorgeous bodies.

Despite the present vogue for huge buttocks and boobs, fashion businesses and modeling agencies have stuck to 1990s standards, preferring extraordinarily slender, tall women with well-defined facial characteristics. Think: Olga Sherer, Kim Noorda, and Kaia Gerber. Many women have endured excruciating suffering to obtain this ultra-thin body size, but thankfully, strong voices are being made calling for a reconsideration of these standards.

Large breasts, a thin waist, and large hips

Although the notions are similar, science has a more clear vision of what an ideal attractive woman should look like.

According to academics at the University of Texas, the truly beautiful female figure conforms to 2000s norms. The ideal lady stands 1.68 meters tall, with a bust, waist, and hips measuring 99, 63, and 91 cm, respectively. That’s also 5’5 ft. tall, with bust, waist, and hip measurements of 38.9, 24.8, and 35.8 inches, respectively.

If you’re looking for someone who currently possesses these stats, consider Kelly Brooks.

Kelly Ann Parsons, better known by her professional name Kelly Brooks, is an English model, actress, and media personality. Kelly satisfies the scientists’ requirements and has steadily caused waves in the fashion and modeling industries. Known as a global style icon, the forty-year-old was named FHM’s sexiest woman alive in 2005 and has been modeling since she was sixteen.

Kelly’s modeling career did not always go smoothly. She was periodically turned down by agencies because she was “too plump”. They were always looking for the thinnest women available, and Kelly didn’t meet the criteria. READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

Kelly is still running a flourishing career fuelled by advertising campaigns for large firms, and she is the poster girl for perfection, according to science.

What’s so special about the 99-63-91 spec?

Several previous and contemporary research have found that males are more attracted to curvier females.

This is because the male psyche subconsciously associates young curviness with fecundity. Attractiveness is strongly predicated on the ability to reproduce, and in this regard, the most attractive women appear to be most suited for childbirth. This is where the term “childbearing hips” came from.

The 99-63-91 body with a height of 1.68m exhibits these so-called fertile and young qualities. However, various factors influence a woman’s fertility, with physical shape playing just a minor role. Infertility concerns can affect anyone, regardless of size, although obesity has been linked to infertility, miscarriages, and pregnancy complications in women.

The scientists may have a point, but beauty is always subjective and depends on one’s criteria.

The truth you should know about the preferred body type in modeling

According to Jennifer Lee, a fashion expert who worked with Chanel’s top designer, the late Karl Lagerfeld, models are chosen entirely for the items they would wear.

The modeling and fashion industries are not particularly interested in beauty standards. Skinny ladies are frequently picked because they are less likely to draw an audience’s focus away from the garments.

Ms. Lee argues that if curvaceous women are hired to model clothes and sell accessories, consumers will end up admiring their bodies rather than the products.

To summarize, beauty exists in everyone, and we should all aspire to be individuals who do not conform to artificial and human-defined beauty standards. Consider how the world would seem if everyone had the same body type, skin color, hair color, or even facial traits. It would be a dull, dreary place with no tasteful diversity. This indicates that every type is important, and women may hold their heads high and love themselves wholeheartedly since we are all perfect in our own way.

Michael J. Fox’s twin daughter has ‘picture perfect’ wedding on mom’s birthday

Published

By

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan’s 29-year-old daughter discovered the ideal way to celebrate her mother’s birthday.

Schuyler, Aquinnah’s twin sister, dressed up as a bride for her dream wedding in the Catskills and said her “I do’s” on June 22, the same day her mother turned 64.

Almost four decades ago, Michael J. Fox, 63, and Tracy Pollan, 64, were cast as on-screen lovers on the hit TV series Family Ties.

“He was very cocky,” Pollan recalls. “He was funny, but he was cocky.”

While the two were smitten with one another, Fox was dating Nancy McKeon, the star of the TV sitcom Facts of Life, and Pollan was with Kevin Bacon, who started dating Kyra Sedgwick in 1987, the same year he split with Pollan.

The Back to the Future star and his now-wife met again on the set of the 1988 film Bright Lights, Big City, and, both unmarried, seized the opportunity to marry that same year.

“It sounds really horrible, but it was one of those things,” Fox said in 1989. He jokes about their relationship statuses, saying, “Someone goes, ‘Did you hear that so-and-so aren’t together anymore?’” And you think, ‘Hmm, that’s too bad. “Where is the phone?”

Family

Shortly after Pollan and Fox married, they became new parents to Sam Michael, who was born on May 30, 1989.

Only two years later, Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and his doting wife willingly offered her unconditional support.

In early November 2023, the Teen Wolf star appeared on CBS Morning and recounted how his beloved wife has been his greatest supporter for 35 years.

“The hardest part of my diagnosis was grappling with the certainty of the diagnosis and the uncertainty of the situation,” Fox observed. “I simply knew things would get worse. The diagnosis was certain, but the progression was undefined and unknown. My wife made it obvious that she would be with me for the duration.

Despite the difficulties, the stars continued to expand their family, welcoming twins Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances on February 15, 1995, and Esmé Annabelle in November 2001.

Fox offers parenting advice to other parents, saying, “Always be available to your children.” Because if you say, “Give me five minutes, give me ten minutes,” it will be fifteen, twenty. When you arrive, the luster of whatever they wished to impart with you will have faded.” READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

‘Picture perfect’

With their adult children now out of their home, Pollan and Fox are empty nesters, enjoying life as they started 36 years ago

“We get more food,” Fox jokes about the four children not being present to consume it all. He goes on to say, “They’re not taking it all.”

They are also starting families on their own.

Schuyler, 29, married her long-term lover on Saturday, June 22, in New York’s Catskill Mountains, according to People.

“The weather was absolutely perfect, despite the heat wave,” a source tells People of the luxury wedding held at Hayfield Catskills. “They dined under a tent, and it really looked like a picture-perfect garden party. They seemed like such an adorable, gentle family.”

‘Forever your Mike’

It was also Pollan’s 64th birthday.

Though the parents haven’t spoken publicly about Schuyler’s nuptials – and the daughters stay out of the spotlight – Sam, now 35, delivered an adorable birthday message to his mom with a shoutout to his sister.

“Happy birthday Teep!! I love you so much and I’m very excited that I actually get to spend the day with you!! ([Schuyler] don’t worry, your post is coming later),” he caption the photo where his mom is seen dancing with one of the twins.

And Fox shared the sweetest birthday message to his loving wife.

“In every beautiful way, it’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day. I love you and today will be magnificent,” the actor wrote via Instagram on Saturday alongside a black-and-white photo of Pollan. “Always forever your Mike with so much love. Happy birthday. It’s gonna be an epic day.”
