The Fact That The Commission, Particularly Their Chairman Could Stoop So Low To Respond To My Post Shows Clearly How Useless The EFCC Is

Popular Nigerian socialite, Ismaila Mustapha, aka Mompha  has again lambasted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.

This is coming after the antigraft agency asked him to prove his allegations that they are the most corrupt agency.

Last week, a witness in the money laundering trial of Mompha, alleged that N35bn was found in Mompha’s accounts.

Reacting to the witness’s comment, Mompha via his Instagram page, called the commission “The most useless and corrupt Nigeria government agency.”

Last night, the agency released a statement demanding that Mompha release proof to show they are corrupt.

Mompha has now responded. In a statement released, the socialite said the fact that the commission responded to him shows how it is “useless and jobless.” READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

He accused the agency of beating up innocent citizens during their illegal and night raids in Ondo and Lagos State.

 Read the statement below;

‘’My attention has once again been drawn to the social media tantrum of the EFCC demanding that I prove corruption allegation against them. The fact that the commission, particularly their chairman could stoop so low to respond to my post shows clearly how useless, jobless the efcc is and how they waste taxpayers money on exchanging banters on social media.

Now, I won’t bother to dwell on the trumped up charges that was cooked up against me for personal gains by some of their corrupt officials and mere media trial because the fact speaks for itself but will rather dwell on how useless this commission under the leadership of the Chairman Cos why will the efcc on Friday, 5th of July, 2024 step outside of their constitutional duty and litter armed men on the streets of Lagos and Abuja all in the name of preventing citizens from protesting against the corruption being displayed by the Efcc, thereby infringing on their fundamental right to lawfully protest and preventing innocent citizens from going about their lawful business.

Another example is beating up innocent citizens during their illegal and night raids ( we all saw what happened in Ondo state and recently in Lagos which the commission reluctantly admitted on its social media platform)

Now back to my case, the efcc claimed they have “overwhelming evidence of my involvement in money laundering”, however the question is; who is this faceless person I laundered money for?; does the person not have a name?; did you mention the name of the person in the trumped up charges before the court?.

Your commission is clearly the one drowning and clutching to any straw, when they quickly rushed to the media to post one side of the evidence of your witness in court when he was yet to be cross examined just to gain social media trend with my name, whereas all he said in court were lies with no evidential proof, which would all come to light on the next court date. To confirm how useless they are again they will reply me again and i will be waiting with more proof @officialefcc”

‘Historical Context Can Be Tricky’ –

Vice President-elect JD Vance promoted Elon Musk’s recent op-ed in support of Germany’s far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Vance shared the op-ed on Thursday and wrote, “I’m not endorsing a party in the German elections, as it’s not my country and we hope to have good relations with all Germans. But this is an interesting piece.”

“Also interesting; American media slanders AfD as Nazi-lite, But AfD is most popular in the same areas of Germany that were most resistant to the Nazis,” Vance added. Vance’s claim was quickly shot down by German journalist James Jackson who shared electoral maps from 1932 and 2024 showing that regional overlap for the AfD and the Nazi party in northeastern Germany…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>

The German Ambassador to the US, Andreas Michaelis, also refuted Vance’s claim, replying, “Interesting observation, Senator JD Vance. Historical context can be tricky – while some areas you are referring to resisted the Nazi party early on, others did not, or later became strongholds of the regime. Germany’s history reminds us how important it is to challenge extremism in all its forms.”

Musk stirred controversy last month when he endorsed the party, which has long been controversial both across Europe and in the U.S. Musk wrote on his X platform that “only the AfD can save Germany.” The AfD is polling strongly in Germany’s upcoming election, but is seen as unlikely to be voted into a position to govern the country as the other parties have vowed not to work with them. Germany publicly accused Musk earlier in the week of trying to influence its elections

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) addressed Musk’s support for the AfD in late December on CNN, “Yeah. I mean, this is not normal. So AfD is essentially the neo-Nazi party in Germany. They exist to try to rehabilitate the image of the Nazi party. And they have all sorts of very dangerous ideas about ridding Germany of anyone who is not naturally born in that country. They are an extremist group,” Murphy replied, adding: READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

And it is just extraordinary that maybe the most important advisor to the president of the United States, somebody that has been, you know, parading around the halls of Congress as a key advisor to the president, is endorsing a neo-Nazi party inside Germany.

Germany’s DW news agency describes the party’s platform as one that “insists on the primacy of “traditional” German culture and rejects Islam as a part of German society. It also questions the notion that climate change is man-made, wants to uphold family values and opposes diversity and gender issues. The AfD wants to limit NATO’s operational area to the territory of its member states and replace the EU with a new organization.”

DW also noted, “The AfD has a powerful extremist section which the domestic intelligence service is keeping tabs on.”
