There is no question that partners in a relationship shouldn’t deceive or keep secrets from one another; nevertheless, there are always exceptions to any rule. If you care about your spouse and the relationship you have with him or her, I don’t think you should tell them the following.

2. If you tell a new acquaintance that your life was in disarray before you met them, there is a possibility that they will take offense at what you have to say. And if he is a horrible person, he may start devising methods to use you to promote his own objectives, such as destroying you, in order to further his own ends.

Resist the impulse to rant about how much you detest your ex-girlfriend to your current spouse about how much you hate her.

4. If you make your current partner hear nothing but negative comments about your previous partner, he will start to fear you. When they decide to stop their relationship, he might be concerned about what she will say about him to the people they have in common.

4. When you’re having a good time with him, it’s best not to gloat about how wonderful your former partner is.

When you are out having fun with your present boyfriend, it is unacceptable to talk about any former relationships you may have had. It’s best not to fawn about your previous partner to your present lover, lest he worry that you’ll dump him if he doesn’t live up to the ideal standards set by your previous partner. You shouldn’t tell him because he might think that you’re just like “those women,” who are only interested in having fun and doing the same thing to him. This is another reason why you shouldn’t tell him.

5 Don’t let him know you’re a virgin until after you’ve tied the knot.

It’s probable that telling a potential date that you’re still a virgin will make them less interested in dating you. If he finds out that you are a virgin, you shouldn’t give him the assurance that you won’t lose him till you are married; he might not want to continue with you. To acquire his respect, you must first educate yourself about him, then win his friendship, and then demonstrate mature behavior whenever you are in his presence. You will be taken aback by how much respect he has for you and the decisions you make.
