A year ago, thirty-five-year-old Stephanie Smith gave birth to a son named Isaiah. When the baby was born, her whole life was filled with love and happiness. Mother and son spent days together, rejoicing in each other and savoring every moment. However, their happy fairy tale didn’t last long.
Three months later, a spot appeared on the boy’s skin, turning their joy into a nightmare. The rash grew larger each day, and Isaiah’s skin reacted painfully to new smells, breaking and bleeding. Doctors diagnosed the boy with a severe form of eczema and prescribed topical steroid ointments. Initially, these treatments seemed to help. However, as time passed, the rash returned, worse than before…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>
Stephanie tried stronger medications, but the cycle repeated: temporary relief followed by a worsening condition. Soon, Isaiah’s body was covered with a terrible rash, his hair fell out, and he lost skin sensitivity. Doctors were baffled.
“The doctors thought it was just eczema,” Stephanie said. “They all said the same thing. One of the doctors even told me I was poisoning my son with my milk and should stop breastfeeding him immediately.”
Five months later, Isaiah suffered a severe attack: his skin began tearing deeply from the inside. An ambulance rushed him to the hospital, where he was treated with powerful steroids. The treatment worked briefly, but the attacks returned with increased intensity.
To prevent infection, Stephanie regularly wrapped her baby in medical bandages. Even his tiny fingers, which could scratch his skin while he slept, had to be completely covered. The only time Isaiah felt any relief was in water. Stephanie spent countless hours with him in the bathroom, cradling him in the sink where he finally stopped crying.
“Every time we touched, his skin began to tear. I couldn’t put his cheek against mine or hug him without all the bandages,” Stephanie said, her voice breaking. “He was in constant pain and screaming all the time. I cried every day.”
“He looked like he had no skin,” she added. “The pain was unbearable. Once, completely desperate, I prayed to the Lord to give my son another life.” READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
The doctors eventually admitted there was nothing more they could do. Stephanie felt utterly hopeless. But one day, while searching online, she stumbled upon an internet forum where people discussed steroid treatments and their potential side effects. She learned that stopping steroid use could sometimes worsen rashes temporarily before improving them.
Desperate for a solution, Stephanie decided to stop using steroids and began making her own lotions and ointments. She experimented with various ingredients, and a combination of lemongrass and zinc yielded the best results.
Slowly, Isaiah’s skin began to heal. Spots free of inflammation appeared on his body. Ten months after stopping the steroid treatments, Isaiah’s skin returned to normal.
“Thirty-five doctors examined us. They all thought it was eczema,” Stephanie said. “Now I want to show them photos of Isaiah in perfect health.”
The most beautiful part of the story is that Isaiah, who once couldn’t be touched, can now play happily with other children.
“We lost a whole year,” Stephanie said. “For an entire year, I couldn’t kiss or hug him. Now, as a family, we hug him all the time! He loves it so much!”
Stephanie has shared her story to help other parents. She understands the pain of watching a child suffer endlessly and hopes her experience will offer hope to others.
