Meryl Streep’s Daughter, 33, Comes Out as Queer on Mom’s Birthday & Shares Photo With Girlfriend

Louisa Jacobson, daughter of the legendary actress Meryl Streep, has publicly come out as queer, sharing the joyous news on Instagram alongside her partner, much to the delight of netizens and social media personalities.

The 33-year-old star of “The Gilded Age” posted photos with her partner, Anna Blundell, on June 22, coinciding with her mother’s birthday and the celebrations of Pride Month.

Jacobson expressed her happiness in her post, writing, “blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb.” Her caption referenced a recent New York Times article titled “We’re Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion.”

Support for Jacobson’s announcement poured in across social media. Blogger Sky Maddas praised her timing, saying, “COMING OUT AT YOUR MOM’S BIRTHDAY IS SO ICONIC [sic].”

Socialite Derek Blasberg joined in with a cheerful, “Happy pride.” Fans added encouraging comments like “omg so happy for you! [sic]” and “We’ll support you in every era kiddo [sic]!”

Earlier in June, Jacobson hinted at her relationship by sharing a carousel of ten photos on Instagram, showcasing her affectionate bond with Blundell. One image captured the couple posing for an elevator mirror selfie, both in matching black outfits.

Another photo showed Blundell, wearing an “ITALIA” cap, kissing Jacobson’s cheek, who looked casual and happy in orange-tinted sunglasses and a grey denim jacket.

One more snapshot depicted the couple holding hands while walking down the street, both dressed in matching denim and black long-sleeve outfits.

In the final photo, Blundell and Jacobson stood in a living room, each holding a drink and looking toward a table outside, where a child sat alone. Jacobson captioned her post, “Cute spring things.”

Despite her public coming out, Jacobson has kept her romantic life relatively private. While she has posted photos with Blundell, Blundell has only shared about their relationship once on Instagram.

On December 15, 2023, Blundell, a producer, posted a similar photo captioned “Annual update,” featuring herself looking away while Jacobson smiled at the camera under a red light.

Jacobson’s new relationship mirrors her mother’s romantic life. After separating from her longtime husband, Streep reportedly sparked romance rumors with one of her “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars last March, following their appearance at the Golden Globes.

Before these rumors, Streep had been married to Don Gummer for 45 years. They wed in September 1978 after knowing each other for less than a year. Streep and Gummer met through her brother, Harry.

Now, the Oscar-winning actress and Gummer are separated. A spokesperson for Streep revealed in 2023 that the couple had been separated for more than six years. Before this announcement, they were last seen together at the 2018 Oscars.

The spokesperson emphasized that while Streep and Gummer will always “care for each other, they have chosen lives apart.”

Following their split, there is speculation that Streep has moved on with her co-star in “Only Murders in the Building,” Martin Short. Rumors of their romantic involvement began when they were seen together at the 81st Annual Golden Globes.

At the event, Streep and Short were seated with Selena Gomez, their co-star in “Only Murders in the Building.” The trio’s nominations for their roles added to Streep’s record as the most-nominated actor in Golden Globes history.

Seeing the chemistry between Streep and Short at the Golden Globes, fans took to social media to comment on the possibility of them being a couple. One fan commented on their excitement, “Sitting with the knowledge that Meryl Streep and Martin Short might be in love but I have no proof [sic].” READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

Fans agreed that if Streep and Short were dating, they’d be iconic. “If Martin Short and Meryl Streep are dating that’s the biggest power couple going,” one fan pointed out. Another added, “Martin Short and Meryl Streep — be the power couple of 2024 we all need if you aren’t already.”

Like Streep, Short was also in a long-term marriage. He married his wife, Nancy Dolman, in 1980, and they were together until her passing in 2010.

Dolman died of natural causes after a 911 call from Short’s Los Angeles home. The couple had been married for 30 years and had three children: Oliver Patrick, Henry, and Katherine Elizabeth Short.

Reports indicated that Dolman had been battling ovarian cancer since 2007. In 2019, Short reflected on his marriage and losing his wife, calling their marriage “a triumph.” He expressed that he still communicates with her, seeking her input on decisions, especially concerning their children. He believed that those who pass away continue to influence their loved ones.

Short explained, “This idea that it just ends, and don’t speak of them — that’s wrong. That’s based on denial that we’re all going to die. So to me, she’s still here.” Losing his wife also led him to embrace risk-taking.

The Canadian-born actor doesn’t believe in bucket lists, focusing instead on daily happiness. He keeps a list of categories like health and career, periodically giving himself a report card to identify areas for improvement.

Short reminisced about a childhood question: “What is the most important thing in life?” His response was simple yet profound: “To be happy.” For Short, part of that happiness comes from being helpful to the people he loves. “That’s what takes you from day to day,” he added.

Now, fans speculate whether Streep is one of the people Short loves. Rumors of a romance between them intensified after they were seen together at the 2024 AFI Luncheon.

Moreover, Streep and Short’s characters in “Only Murders in the Building” fell in love during the third season of the Hulu comedy. Fans have noted their great on-screen chemistry. “Only Murders in the Building” is a collaborative creation by Steve Martin and John Hoffman.

Hoffman shared that Streep expressed gratitude to him for crafting the romantic storyline involving her and Short’s characters in the series, noting their incredible on-screen connection. In season three, episode five, Streep and Short’s characters share a date on a ferry overlooking New York City.

Hoffman recalled Streep’s fondness for the ferry location, ranking it among her top two favorite filming sites. “It was the most magical night of shooting, and they were completely beyond wonderful together,” Hoffman remarked about the scene and the chemistry between Streep and Short.

Besides their on-screen chemistry, Streep and Short have been enjoying their time together off-screen. On February 21, 2023, the pair had dinner with friends at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.

For the outing, Streep wore black pants paired with a hot pink button-down and a red jacket. Short donned a gray sweater and a black blazer.

An insider shared details about the dinner. “They were really enjoying their meal and having a blast the whole time,” the source said of Short and Streep, adding that there was “lots of laughing” and that the group “couldn’t have been having a better time.”

Despite their close bond, Short has denied any romantic involvement with Streep. In an interview in January 2024, Short addressed the idea of them being a power couple, saying, “We are not a couple, we are just very good friends.”

From Jacobson’s new relationship with Blundell to Streep’s close friendship with Short, both mother and daughter are embracing new chapters filled with love and support.

Michael J. Fox’s twin daughter has ‘picture perfect’ wedding on mom’s birthday

Published

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan’s 29-year-old daughter discovered the ideal way to celebrate her mother’s birthday.

Schuyler, Aquinnah’s twin sister, dressed up as a bride for her dream wedding in the Catskills and said her “I do’s” on June 22, the same day her mother turned 64.

Almost four decades ago, Michael J. Fox, 63, and Tracy Pollan, 64, were cast as on-screen lovers on the hit TV series Family Ties.

“He was very cocky,” Pollan recalls. “He was funny, but he was cocky.”

While the two were smitten with one another, Fox was dating Nancy McKeon, the star of the TV sitcom Facts of Life, and Pollan was with Kevin Bacon, who started dating Kyra Sedgwick in 1987, the same year he split with Pollan.

The Back to the Future star and his now-wife met again on the set of the 1988 film Bright Lights, Big City, and, both unmarried, seized the opportunity to marry that same year.

“It sounds really horrible, but it was one of those things,” Fox said in 1989. He jokes about their relationship statuses, saying, “Someone goes, ‘Did you hear that so-and-so aren’t together anymore?’” And you think, ‘Hmm, that’s too bad. “Where is the phone?”

Family

Shortly after Pollan and Fox married, they became new parents to Sam Michael, who was born on May 30, 1989.

Only two years later, Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and his doting wife willingly offered her unconditional support.

In early November 2023, the Teen Wolf star appeared on CBS Morning and recounted how his beloved wife has been his greatest supporter for 35 years.

“The hardest part of my diagnosis was grappling with the certainty of the diagnosis and the uncertainty of the situation,” Fox observed. “I simply knew things would get worse. The diagnosis was certain, but the progression was undefined and unknown. My wife made it obvious that she would be with me for the duration.

Despite the difficulties, the stars continued to expand their family, welcoming twins Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances on February 15, 1995, and Esmé Annabelle in November 2001.

Fox offers parenting advice to other parents, saying, “Always be available to your children.” Because if you say, “Give me five minutes, give me ten minutes,” it will be fifteen, twenty. When you arrive, the luster of whatever they wished to impart with you will have faded.” READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

‘Picture perfect’

With their adult children now out of their home, Pollan and Fox are empty nesters, enjoying life as they started 36 years ago

“We get more food,” Fox jokes about the four children not being present to consume it all. He goes on to say, “They’re not taking it all.”

They are also starting families on their own.

Schuyler, 29, married her long-term lover on Saturday, June 22, in New York’s Catskill Mountains, according to People.

“The weather was absolutely perfect, despite the heat wave,” a source tells People of the luxury wedding held at Hayfield Catskills. “They dined under a tent, and it really looked like a picture-perfect garden party. They seemed like such an adorable, gentle family.”

‘Forever your Mike’

It was also Pollan’s 64th birthday.

Though the parents haven’t spoken publicly about Schuyler’s nuptials – and the daughters stay out of the spotlight – Sam, now 35, delivered an adorable birthday message to his mom with a shoutout to his sister.

“Happy birthday Teep!! I love you so much and I’m very excited that I actually get to spend the day with you!! ([Schuyler] don’t worry, your post is coming later),” he caption the photo where his mom is seen dancing with one of the twins.

And Fox shared the sweetest birthday message to his loving wife.

“In every beautiful way, it’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day. I love you and today will be magnificent,” the actor wrote via Instagram on Saturday alongside a black-and-white photo of Pollan. “Always forever your Mike with so much love. Happy birthday. It’s gonna be an epic day.”

Linda Kozlowski: From Crocodile Dundee to a New Adventure in Morocco

Published

on

By

Linda Kozlowski became an international sensation after her breakthrough role in Crocodile Dundee. In the film, she starred alongside Paul Hogan and later embarked on an incredible romantic journey with him.

However, in 2014, Kozlowski and Hogan went their separate ways, despite having a son together. Since then, she has focused on living her own life and finding love again.

A Passionate Start in Acting

Linda Kozlowski was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on January 7, 1958. From a young age, she had a passion for acting and decided to pursue a career in the industry.

Kozlowski was accepted into the prestigious theater program at the Juilliard School in New York. After graduating in 1981, she began her acting career by performing in off-Broadway productions. She later landed minor roles on Broadway and in television, including a co-starring role with Dustin Hoffman in the television movie “D_eath of a Salesman.”

From New York to California

For Kozlowski, moving to New York to pursue acting wasn’t easy. After completing her role in “D_eath of a Salesman,” she found herself working as a waitress and struggling to find other acting opportunities. Fortunately, she had formed a close bond with Dustin Hoffman, who became a mentor to her.

Feeling frustrated with her lack of success in New York, Kozlowski made a decision to move to California. Hoffman and his wife invited her to stay in their Malibu beach house, and it was during this time that she attended an audition for Crocodile Dundee.

A Life-Changing Role

For Linda Kozlowski, her audition for Crocodile Dundee was a memorable experience. Having received the news of her casting from Hoffman himself, she realized that this opportunity would change her life.

In the original Crocodile Dundee movie released in 1986, Kozlowski co-starred with Paul Hogan. The film was a massive success, grossing over $320 million and becoming one of the most popular movies of the year.

Life After Crocodile Dundee

Though she was successful in Crocodile Dundee, Kozlowski felt that her career revolved too much around the film. She turned down numerous projects after the movie, wanting to be recognized for her own talent rather than being seen as an accessory to someone else’s success. Kozlowski did appear in the sequels to Crocodile Dundee, released in 1988 and 2001, respectively. However, those movies were her only on-screen appearances. She made the decision to leave show business after she gave birth to her son, Chance Hogan, in 1998. She wanted to focus on raising her child and chose to step away from the spotlight.

A New Chapter

In 2014, Linda Kozlowski’s 23-year marriage to Paul Hogan ended in divorce. After that, she decided to pursue a new adventure in life. She found love again with a native Moroccan tour guide named Moulay Hafid Baba and together, they established the luxury travel agency Dream My Destiny in Marrakech, Morocco. They design unique travel itineraries for their clients based on their preferences.

Now in her 60s, Linda Kozlowski has no plans to return to the big screen. She is content with her life and believes that real life is more fulfilling than acting. She cherishes the independence and freedom she now has, which she feels was limited during her acting career.

As Kozlowski continues to enjoy her adventurous life in Morocco, she looks back on her time in Hollywood with fondness. Acting undoubtedly helped her develop important skills, such as intuition, which she now utilizes in her current profession.

Though Linda Kozlowski may no longer be in the spotlight, her role as Sue Charlton in Crocodile Dundee will always be remembered. She has left a lasting legacy in the film industry and continues to live her life on her own terms.
