A mom refused to hold her baby because of his appearance, but when the doctors did a test, their hushed whispers and troubled glances only added to the mystery of the shocking results they had discoveredShe Refused To Carry Her Baby Because Of His Appearance. Doctor Did a Test and Was Shocked To See..

After getting to the hospital, Karen finally gave birth 48 hours later. As the doctor delivered the baby, their expressions shifted from focused determination to one of pure shock. Frankie and Karen couldn’t understand what was happening as the atmosphere in the delivery room grew increasingly tense. The silence was deafening as the doctors exchanged worried glances. One of the doctors, who was trembling, finally snapped out of it and had the baby taken away before the parents could see it…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>

Karen was told that they urgently needed to run some tests on the infant to make sure that everything was okay. Of course, their confusion turned to concern as the doctors hesitated to share the news, leaving Frank and Karen to wonder what could possibly be wrong with their newborn. The couple waited anxiously for news on their baby’s health, feeling like the minutes dragged on for an eternity.

Finally, a doctor emerged from the examination room, but the doctor looked deceived and clearly stressed, leaving the couple to wonder what news they were about to receive. “I’m so sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Keller,” he said solemnly. The couple braced for the worst, but the doctor told them that the tests were inconclusive, and they would need more time to investigate their son’s condition.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Karen demanded to see her baby. As his mother, she felt a strong sense of entitlement to know what was going on. However, the doctor revealed that it would be best for now if anyone besides medical staff were allowed to approach him.

It had been two days since they’d spoken to the doctor, and Karen was almost ready to go home, but the thought of leaving without her baby caused her immense distress, and she once again began demanding to see her baby. But the doctors would not budge.

The new parents couldn’t help but wonder what could possibly be so concerning about their child’s condition that an entire team of doctors would forbid them from seeing him. To everyone’s surprise, Frank abruptly got up and exclaimed, “No one will stop my wife and me from seeing our son!” before storming out of the room and walking towards the neonatal intensive care unit.

The doctors did not expect this outburst from Frank and were forced to call security, who had to escort him off the premises while Karen was forced to remain behind. She was escorted to another room for further questioning about her pregnancy. She asked where her husband was, but upon being told that he had been escorted off the premises, she became quiet and depressed. She now felt all alone and helpless. All she could do was wait, her heart aching to hold her newborn child for the very first time.

Karen’s room was soon visited by a friendly middle-aged nurse who arrived with a comforting cup of tea and a notepad ready to question her about her pregnancy. However, at first, Karen was silent and unresponsive, refusing to answer any of the nurse’s inquiries.

The nurse then gently held Karen’s hand and explained to her that her cooperation was vital for the survival of her baby and that this was a safe place. To the nurse’s surprise, tears welled up in Karen’s eyes as she whispered, “It’s all my fault.” Flabbergasted, the nurse tried to inquire as to exactly what was Karen’s fault, but once again, Karen fell silent.

The nurse sighed and gave Karen’s hand a reassuring squeeze before posing the next question, “Are you sure that Mr. Keller is the baby’s father?” Karen was shocked and cried out in disbelief, insisting that Frank was the baby’s father. She couldn’t understand why the nurse would insinuate anything else.

Despite Karen’s assertions, the nurse remained unconvinced and suspected that she was hiding something. The nurse continued to press Karen until she finally broke down in tears and blurted out, “I’m a terrible mother, okay?” With much coaxing, Karen finally confessed to having lived a wild lifestyle before becoming pregnant. She had since slowed down but was afraid that it was too late by the time she found out she was pregnant.

Karen went on to reveal that she had experienced inexplicable stomach cramps throughout her pregnancy, but their doctor had assured them that it was nothing to worry about. She had assumed it was a normal part of pregnancy. The nurse took note of this, thanked Karen, and took her findings back to the doctors. Luckily, they found that Karen’s GP was correct, but now they were back to square one.

Karen confronted the doctors, demanding an explanation for why she was not allowed to see her baby. The doctors could only assure her that her baby was currently stable and needed to run more tests. One doctor advised Karen to stay for one more night, assuring her that they would have more answers soon. Karen complied for the time being, but her motherly instincts drove her to sneak out of the room in the middle of the night to see her baby. READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

Ensuring no one was around, she carefully made her way to the NICU where the babies were kept. Her excitement grew as she approached her son, unaware of the consequences that would follow. Success. As she searched the many cribs in the room for the one with their son’s name, her eyes fell on a particularly odd crib that was connected to a multitude of different machines. “This must be it,” she thought with both excitement and worry.

With caution, Karen made her way to the crib, trying not to disturb her sleeping baby. However, as she peered over the edge to catch a glimpse of him, she let out a piercing scream. “My son! What’s wrong with my baby?” she wailed, no longer caring about waking up the other babies in the room.

One doctor who’d rushed to the scene sighed heavily when he saw Karen slumped on the floor next to her son’s crib. And this is exactly why he and his team didn’t want her to see the baby. The child was alive and well, but now they were in a situation where they had to explain something that even they had no answers for. The baby’s unusual appearance.

Karen, who was still in shock, was then unwillingly escorted back to her room and locked due to her persistence. She struggled to sleep that night because all she could think about was what she’d seen just hours before. Her baby didn’t look like her or Frank at all, which made her worried about the impact it might have on their marriage.

The following day, a solemn-looking doctor enters her room and tells Karen to call Frank because he had some news. Frank got to the hospital in no time and immediately confronted his already emotional wife. “What did you do, Karen?” he accused her. The doctors urged Frank to calm down and take a seat, assuring him that his wife had not done anything to jeopardize the baby’s health but explained that they needed to run some DNA tests.

After being informed about the baby’s condition and the request, Frank was initially upset and refused, believing the baby might not be his. However, after much coaxing, he eventually agreed to the request. The doctors did a test and were shocked to see that Frank was indeed the baby’s father, but the result still didn’t answer the elephant in the room. Why did the newborn baby look this way?

Flabbergasted and still unable to explain the major concern at hand, they revealed this news to the anxious couple, who then demanded to see their baby. When Frank saw his son, he was baffled, to say the least. Though his reaction was nowhere near as theatrical as Karen’s, he still had so many questions as to why their baby looked the way he did.

All the doctors could do was reassure them that everything would be fine, but they had one more test which may hold all the answers they were looking for – the skin biopsy. The couple decided to wait on the final results together, and during this time, Frank expressed his sincere apologies to his wife for ever doubting her.

However, Karen unexpectedly revealed that she didn’t want to carry the baby and even had doubts about keeping the baby. She believed that people would question whether the baby was Frank’s due to his physical appearance.

Frank spent the remainder of the day persuading Karen to keep their son and not lose hope. “We have incredible news,” said the head doctor as he walked into the room.

The couple was then informed that their son was perfectly healthy but had a rare skin condition that caused his pigment to darken despite having little melanin. In addition, they were told that with the help of a prescribed cream, their son’s skin would gradually return to its intended color over time.

Despite the news about their son’s skin condition, the couple felt a sense of relief that they could finally bring their perfectly healthy baby boy home.

1999 Toronto Saga: How Former Speaker, Salisu Buhari, Declared False Age and Forged University Certificate

Published

On the 3rd of June, 1999, Salisu Buhari, a 29-year-old Nigerian businessman who made his fortune dealing in computers, was elected as the speaker of the House of Representatives in Nigeria, a position which constitutionally made him the fourth most important person in Nigeria.

Unknowing to his colleagues, the government and the whole of Nigeria, Salisu Buhari was not qualified for the office he occupied. Few weeks after he was elected, findings revealed that Salisu Buhari, the sixth Speaker of the House of Rep. forged his way to power…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>

The News Magazine released an article on the 19th of July, 1999 claiming that Salisu Buhari is seven years younger than the 36 years he claimed to be and that he didn’t attend the University of Toronto in Canada not to talk of graduating from the institution. The News Magazine had more than enough proofs to back their claims thus suppressing all threats made by Salisu Buhari and his lawyers to sue them for libel.

It was made known to the world that Salisu Buhari, the self-acclaimed Toronto University graduate, was actually born in 1970 and not in 1963 which he claimed. This rendered him unqualified to be the Speaker as section 65 subsection 1 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria disqualified anybody under 30 years from contesting membership of the House of Representatives.

Also, it was made known that Salisu Buhari didn’t attend the University of Toronto in Canada not to talk of graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 1990. The University of Toronto, when asked, denied knowing Salisu Buhari. The management said they couldn’t find any record relating to the his name. Carlo Villanueva, an official of the Institution said,

Regarding your request for confirmation of degree for Mr. Ibrahim Salisu Buhari. We have searched our records and could not find anybody with the name you are inquiring with”.

Also, Salisu claimed that he did his national youth service at Standard Construction in Kano. This was proven false as records at the NYSC secretariat in Abuja could not produce his name among the 1991 corps members who served in the scheme. READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>

Blocked in every way, he had no means of escape. After several open denial of the allegations and threats to sue The News Magazine, Salisu Buhari, on Thursday, July 23, 1999, eventually faced Nigerians and admitted declaring false age and forging certificate. In tears, he said,

“I apologize to you. I apologize to the nation. I apologize to my family and friends for all the distress I have caused them. I was misled in error by the zeal to serve the nation, I hope the nation will forgive me and give me the opportunity to serve again.”

He then resigned and walked into the shadows. In 2013, he made his return to the news and the public space when he was appointed as a member of the governing council of the University of Nigeria by President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

Normally, the move garnered a lot of criticism. In a feeble attempt to justify the appointment, the Nigerian government explained that Buhari’s apology had earned him a presidential pardon from President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The Man Called Adegoke Adelabu ‘Penkelemesi’

Published

By

Joseph Gbadamosi Adegoke Adelabu alias Adelabu Penkelemesi was a colossal in the political arena of Ibadan and the then Western Region before the independence of Nigeria in 1960.

He was born in Oke-Oluokun, Ibadan, on September 3, 1915 to Mr. Sanusi Ashiyanbi Adelabu and Mrs. Awujola Adelabu. At the tender age of five, Adegoke Adelabu lost his mother and then lived with his paternal aunt. Adegoke Adelabu attended St. David’s C.M.S School in Kudeti, Ibadan from 1925 to 1929; CMS Central School, Mapo, Ibadan in 1930 and Government College, where he was a head boy, from 1931 to 1936…Click Here To Continue Reading>> …Click Here To Continue Reading>>

In 1936, Adegoke won a U.A.C scholarship to study commerce in Yaba Higher College but eventually left the college six months later to work as an assistant to the UAC Ibadan district manager. After working with UAC for sometime, he was promoted to an Assistant Manager due to his hard and clever work. However, he left UAC in 1937 to start a business of his own which was unsuccessful. He later took up a civil service job, then returned to UAC in 1945 only to leave after a short period to start a textile trading business which was successful.

After acquiring little wealth from his textile business, Adegoke Adelabu got involved in politics. The starting point of his political career was traced to the period when Ibadan lineage chiefs (Mogajis) rose against Salami Agbaje, the then Otun Balogun of Ibadan, from becoming the Olubadan of Ibadan. In 1951, during the local elections, Adelabu and some other political elements formed a new party called the Ibadan People’s Party to challenge the already established Ibadan Progressive Union and fortunately for Adelabu, the new party won all six seats to the Western Regional Assembly. However, the Ibadan People’s Party broke apart after an informal alliance with NCNC was proposed by Adelabu. Adegoke Adelabu stayed with NCNC and became the secretary of the party’s Western Province Working Committee. In 1954, Adelabu became the chairman of Ibadan District Council. Also, in the Federal elections of 1954, Adegoke Adelabu won a seat to the House of Representatives and later became the First National Vice President of NCNC and appointed Minister of Social Services. He held this post along with his chairmanship of the Ibadan district council.

He later resigned from both positions after allegations of corruption by the opposition party, Action Group.
In 1956, Adelabu ran for a seat in the regional assembly as the leader of NCNC in the Western Region but his party lost majority seats to Action Group thus making Adelabu the leader of opposition in the Western House of Assembly.
Adegoke Adelabu alias Adelabu Penkelemesi was a strong politician, leader and had his ground, a firm ground, in Ibadan. He was found of using the phrase “Peculiar mess” whenever he address the public. The non-literate segment of his followers who had never heard of the words peculiar and mess and never knew its meaning Yorubanized the phrase into “Penkelemesi” and then added it to his name- Adegoke Adelabu Penkelemesi. The people so much loved Adelabu. He was indeed a ‘man of the people’. OldNaija gathered that when he became the Minister of Labour, he was given an official limousine car which he drove to Ibadan to show his friends and followers and declared that the car belonged to them, not him. Also, when Adelabu was given an official residence in Ikoyi, the most exquisite part of Lagos inhabited mostly by the British and French, he called drummers from his hometown to celebrate the success which the British and French residents found disturbing. Adegoke Adelabu simply said, “If they do not like noise and drumming, they are free to go back to their own country.” Adegoke Adelabu admitted being an egoist in a book he wrote in 1952 titled ‘Africa In Ebullition: Being a handbook of freedom for Nigerian nationalists’.

On March 25, 1958, at the age of 43, Adegoke Adelabu met his untimely death in a fatal car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. His death sparked protest and chaos in Ibadan as many of his supporters claimed he was assassinated by his opponents with juju. Several properties were destroyed and people also lost their lives. The police arrested over 500 persons of whom 102 was charged with murder and others discharged and some, jailed. It was indeed a big loss, a “peculiar miss” for the people of Ibadan.
