Léon Marchand, a swimmer with a passion for computers

At just 22 years old, Leon Marchand has become a star of the big pool around the world. The Toulouse native is qualified for four disciplines: the 400-meter medley, the 200-meter butterfly, the 200-meter breaststroke and the 200-meter medley. Varian Pasquet, rugby player and future engineer

Since birth, the 17-year-old boy has suffered from a rare genetic disease, making him visually impaired. Which has never stopped him from excelling both in sport, being a bronze medalist at the last world championship and multiple gold and silver medalist at the European youth championships. But also during his schooling: after obtaining his baccalaureate, Kylian Portal joined the EMLV business school, at the Pôle Léonard de Vinci. He has just finished his first year.

A young badminton player realizes his deceased father’s dream
