I’ve Aborted Thrice For My School Principal – 14 Years Old Secondary School Student Tells Ondo Court

According to Vanguard News, a 14 years old secondary school student has narrated to a Magistrates Family Court in Akure, Ondo state, how she aborted three times for her school principal and pastor, Adetunji Obatayo aged 55.

Speaking before the court, the girl said, “When I was 10 years old, my parents released me to live with pastor due to his desire to train me. “He impregnated me thrice and gave me 5000 naira to buy abortion drugs after many preventive drugs”

She further narrated how the pastor refused to provide money for the third abortion, and how she took his money to buy the pills. In reaction, the pastor accused her of giving the money to her boyfriend, a boy in the school where the pastor was the principal.

Meanwhile, Obatayo has been remanded in prison by the magistrate family court for defiling the 14 years old girl and procuring abortion for her thrice.

The parents of the victim told the court that they handed her to pastor Obatayo in 2020 after he assured them he would train her in school.

The principal was arraigned on three counts charge of defilement, unlawfully prescribing drugs to procure abortion thereby killing an unborn child.

His pleas were not taken. The presiding magistrate, B.A Alphonso ordered the defendant to be remanded to the Olokuta Correctional Centre and directed the case file to be sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.

Thereafter, the trail magistrate, Alphonso ordered the victim to be taken in for rehabilitation and adjourned the case to August 29, 2024 for mentioning.

General Sani Abacha is perhaps Nigeria’s most enigmatic head of state. He reigned from 1993 until his death in 1998. General Abacha was born in Kano state, northern Nigeria on September 20, 1943. He hails from Kanuri in Borno state.

He passed out of the Nigerian Military Training Centre in Kaduna where he proceeded to Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot, England before being commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in 1963.

He is held by some as Nigeria’s most successful coup plotter. When he was still a Second Lieutenant with the 3rd Battalion in Kaduna, he took part in the July 1966 Nigerian counter-coup from the conceptual stage.
