VfB is strengthening its attack. Ermedin Demirovic is moving from FC Augsburg to Bad Cannstatt and has signed a contract until June 30, 2028.

In the 2023/2024 season, Ermedin Demirovic scored 15 goals and assisted nine goals in 33 Bundesliga games as captain of FCA. With this record, the Bosnian international striker was one of the top scorers in the top German league. In total, Ermedin Demirovic has played 124 games for SC Freiburg and FC Augsburg in the top German league, in which he scored 30 goals and provided 22 assists.
