A Passionate Career

Doug Sheehan was an American actor whose career spanned several decades. Born on April 27, 1949, in Santa Monica, California, Sheehan grew up in the vibrant Los Angeles area. He dedicated himself to honing his craft and started his acting journey in theater before transitioning to television.

Captivating Audiences

In 1979, Sheehan’s breakthrough came when he joined the popular soap opera “General Hospital”. Portraying the role of Joe Kelly, a private investigator, Sheehan quickly became a fan favorite. His character was known for being involved in gripping storylines filled with dramatic romances and thrilling mysteries. Sheehan’s undeniable talent helped boost the show’s ratings and left a lasting impact on soap opera fans.

Unforgettable Storylines

Sheehan’s talent extended beyond “General Hospital” and he later joined the cast of “Knots Landing”. Gov Makinde Goes On Vacation, Transmits Power To Deputy

The governor’s message was read on the floor of the House by the Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin during Thursday’s valedictory plenary sitting in honour of Mrs Yetunde Awe, the Clerk of the House, who is retiring from the state civil service.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde will go on vacation from Monday August 5, 2024 to Friday, September 6, 2024.

However, the governor also transmitted power to his deputy, Bayo Lawal to serve as the acting governor.

The letter read: “Annual vacation form 5th September 2024 to Friday September 6th 2024 Pursuant to section 190 subsection 1 of the federal republic of Nigeria, I hereby transmit out that during these period indicated above deputy governor Barr Bayo Lawal shall be active governor and shall be acting Governor and shall be back form the vacation September 7th 2024.”

He promised to resume from vacation on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
